I began scrapbooking about ten years ago with a magnetic album and colored computer paper. I discovered "acid-free" scrapbooking a few years later and have been scrapping ever since. I love to scrapbook because it helps me celebrate where I've been, as well as where I'm headed.
I am the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Scrapbook Projects Illustrated and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Altered Art Illustrated. I enjoy contributing articles regularly to Scrapjazz.com. In addition, I have contributed designs to several idea books and magazines, including publications from Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, PaperKuts, and TopLine Creations.
Lately I've been spending a lot of time scrapbooking digitally, and happy to serve on the Creative Team for Amy Sumrall. I've previously served on design teams for WeScrap (The International Scrapbooking Association) and Scrapbooker's Club House.
In addition to creating art, writing, and teaching, I also work locally at RuffaloCODY, an organization dedicated to helping non-profit organizations.
I currently live in Iowa City, Iowa with my husband, Daniel.
